The short version: treat every result as a signal, not a verdict.
Our AI checker, and every other AI detector on the market, gives you a statistical estimate based on writing patterns, not a confirmed fact about who or what wrote a piece of text. Formal writing, technical writing, heavily edited writing, and writing by non native English speakers can sometimes score differently than expected. A high or low score is a starting point for a closer look, not final proof of anything.
Please do not use a result from our AI checker, on its own, as the sole basis for failing a student, rejecting a submission, ending a working relationship, or any other serious decision. If accuracy matters that much to your situation, use our result alongside your own judgment, a direct conversation with the writer, and any other evidence available to you.
AI writing tools change constantly, and so does the writing style of the people using them. A score from our checker reflects patterns common at the time you ran the check. It is not a permanent or guaranteed classification of a piece of text.
We built this AI checker to be a helpful, honest signal, the same way a spell checker flags a word without deciding your entire essay is wrong. The final call on any piece of writing should always sit with a person, not a score.
